We loved this hotel's location and views. Terrace was an advantage. Lake Maggiore is near to the property. Being right at Marconi Beach was nice, we had dinner there.
-
The location was great! in front of the river, 10 minute walk to the train station
-
Favourable location, helpful staff. It was a short walk to Stresa city centre. Excellent restaurant. Service was superb as we had expected.

The hotel is excellently located, on 1 line by the seafront, its own paid parking on the territory, an excellent street pool with sun loungers, there is also an internal, heated ... nice hall, fountain at the entrance, facade - everything looks good until you get to your room
The rooms are disgusting, they're not old, they're dilapidated!!! Clean, but it does not save the situation ... slippers and bathrobes no, 1 towel ! Rooms make a depressing impression, cabinets, pedestals are about to fall apart! And the smell... uses some very specific, caustic detergents... it's like we're in our 90s! ... Gentlemen, for that kind of money, that's unacceptable. . Bad luck with the weather, there was a terrible cold in the rooms, a request for warm blankets, we were brought fleece, worn and very shabby ... disappointed and very dissatisfied !

Very nice hotel with nice interiors. It is located a little away from the city center, but everywhere you can walk along the promenade. Beautiful hotel located not far from the city centre. However, you can easily walk to the centre using the promenade.
No kettle in the rooms. The room for three adults itself is cramped, there is absolutely no place to store suitcases and things. There's parking, but it's paid, even for guests. There were electricity problems in the hotel during the storm. The water in the pool is very cold, even in the heat. Too many people in the pool area. There's no kettle in the room and the room itself is too small for three adults - it was pretty hard to find a place for our suitcases. The parking isn't free - even for the clients of the hotel. We had a strom at night and there were problems with electricity. The water in the pool is too cold even during hot August days and the area around is too crowded.

This was a shot in the dark for us and we were blown away, it was an absolute bargain and we booked after not being able to find any value around Como. Lake Maggiore is strikingly beautiful but if time is limited spend only a morning on the island cruises doing Bella and Pescatore islands. If you have a spare day drive to Tasch 2 hrs over the Simplon pass, catch the train to Zermatt and then the Matterhorn express to 3800m for skiing or to see the most unforgettable view of the Alps. The staff across the hotel are excellent, professional and helpfull at all times. I think we got a free upgrade as the room was excellent
Pillows were terrible, like flat pancakes but we asked for feather pillows and these were promptly provided. Internet was a bit slow, unreliable and expensive but overall we would return in a heartbeat!

Very nice hotel, perfect location on the lake side, helpful and friendly staff. We booked a double room and were upgraded to a triple room. Very accomodating to small children.
Swimming pool closes at 8pm, which is too early.

I am a frequent travel staying in many hotels in a year. Bristol for me is the best hotel I ever stayed, combining great people, beautiful Hotel, facilities, Swimming pools, art, design, comfort. Everything was simply perfect. Even the parking is so comfortable. There is a strong taking care of the small details and that is what makes the difference. The biggest asset the Hotel has is its stuff, very friendly, very helping, polite. Really great!
That I had to leave :-).
